Tuniverso: universal tuner for all instruments and reference frequencies.
A tuner is the most essential tools for a string musician, except the instrument itself. And in theory, constantly being surrounded by mobile phones and other computers should allow us to always have a perfect tuner available for free. Yet the sad reality is that all the free tuners I tried had important features missing, horrible design, massive data use and poor performance, and of course all the tracking their creators felt they could get away with. So I decided to try and get it right.
All processing happens client-side in JavaScript. Your audio never leaves your device. There’s no backend, no database, no analytics. It’s just you, your browser, and some math.
